Even though Albert Creek is the place where birders come to get their Yukon
Cape May Warbler in early summer, and there usually is at least one singing male somewhere in the area, they are seldom caught and banded, especially so in the fall. Therefore a hatch-year bird caught on Aug 8th was a special event. Also the same day, the season first
Yellow-bellied Flycatcher was banded.
